Just Starting

This is my first of I hope many blogs. I hope that it at the least is a bit interesting.
I think I will begin by talking about myself.
I am the average person, at least I always thought I was.
I'm 51, female, happily married, have several grown kids and a few grand kids.
I love my country, have great respect for our service people, either in the military,police,or firefighters.
I also admire anyone who works in the medical field.
I think we as Americans need to put more money into education.
I think too much money is spent on sports and not enough on education.
We all need to slow down a bit and take time to listen to nature, read a good book or watch a good old fashioned oldie moldie movie.Life is too short and we just do not take the time to enjoy a day for what it is.
I like to be creative by doing many different types of crafts. I like to read on occasion. I love the old black and white TV shows like Andy Griffith,I Love Lucy, Leave It To Beaver. I laugh at how corny some of those shows really were.
I love to laugh, Laughing is actually really good for your health.
I love meeting new people, I think everyone has a story and something interesting to add to your life. I also love to sit and people watch. Sometimes you can be watching people pass by and see yourself in them or someone you know who acts just like them. I think we are not all that different.
For now, I think that is about all I have to share with everyone. "I hope you all can at least find one good thing a day in your lives to be happy about."
